Can not install avedesk 1.3

I am having trouble getting avedesk to work. I installed it properly (licked on register.bat) but nothing happens when I try to run the program. is there a way to toally uninstall it (get all the registry entries out)so i can reinstall?

I dont think you install avedesk =/ I think you just place it in a folder and launch.

true, true. register.bat only registers the aveint extension. just click on avedesk in the avedesk folder.

eg. system specs

Did you install over a previous version? Before 1.3 came out Ave had introduced the aveinst format with the bat register did you install that? (Shouldn't be the problem)

What exactly happens? doesn't run at all? anything in taskmgr? lots of questions?

I'm sure a good search of the forum should provide your answer.

2 gig ram

I unzipped avedesk into folder avedesk13 and placed it on my d drive

double clicked register.bat then avedesk.exe

nothing happens and i see avedesk in task manager

I clicked unregister and register a few times but the same thing happens(probably mucked it up therE)

i searches and found nothing to help but will search again

@ Amber maybe it's running but the tray icon is disabled in preferences ?

Yes it was like that..I deleted all references to avedesk from the registry and the avedesk folder and will try again

I have a .exe installer of AveDesk if you want to use that.
