Aqua-Soft ForumsI am very much a beginner. I installed the OS X look on my XP machine this afternoon. I own and use Macs as well, so I'm familiar with making changes to the dock. I want to have the dock go away on the XP machine unless I bring the cursor down to the bottom of the screen. I looked in what I thought were the obvious places to make the change, but didn't find the answer. Help would be appreciated. Thanks. Randy
Auto-hiding my dock
Which dock? Chances are there's an "automatically hide" option somewhere in the preferences for the dock.
Oh, and welcome by the way. Chances are people will yell at you for posting in the wrong section and using a vague title, but their bark is worse than their bite.
yz dock/RK launcher - right click select authide
object dock - settings, appearance tab, look for a check box that says auto hide next to it
