In Apple Safari, when you are loading a page there is a blue bar that goes accross the Address Bar area, showing how much data Safari has loaded. When the page is fully loaded, the blue bar disappears.

There is an extension for FireFox that will emulate that, get it here: https://addons.mozilla.org/extension...irefox&id=1951
