This has NOTHING to do with FlyakiteOSX so i have no idea why you put it in here.

This bug was in firefox long before FOSX was released.

Also try to make your treah titles a little less vague next time

hey...i'm not so sure.....firefox started doing this only after i installed flyakiteosx...and my friend installed it at the same time as me and the exact same thing happened, so i'm not quite so sure it has nothing to do with flyakiteosx.....(i just got an update for firefox 1.5.0.2 and it still does this....)...any ideas how can i figure out why firefox/flyakiteosx are conflicting?

Do you have anything on your Bookmarks Toolbar?

Take a look at the FAQs on flyakite's site, it should have a fix.

I'll move this back if the Bookmarks Toolbar fix works ;).

Yes i am pretty sure since i had this problem with versions 0.8 and 0.9, long before there was FlyakiteOSX

To be fair I also remember this annoyance happening when installing Flykite many moons ago.

From the FOSX FAQ:

Firefox pages keep shaking up and down after installation.

This is a bug due to not having any bookmarks in the Bookmarks Toolbar (not the Bookmarks Folder).

To fix, either:

1) Disable the Bookmarks toolbar by going to View > Toolbars > Bookmarks Toolbar

2) Add a bookmark to the Bookmarks Toolbar

I remember it fixed it for me, so I think NC is right. Not that anyone else is wrong or anything.
