is there any way to disably flyakite's update function? i keep trying to overwrite a few of his files with some different ones, and the update function keeps setting them back to flyakite's versions. i cannot seem to acess it, or cancel that operation, it just does it without asking me, and it is driving me mad.
i have searched the forums already, and flyakite's FAQ, and i have not been able to find any answer to my question.
this is a common problem of flyakite if you are using the v3.0, in the v3.5 this has been fixed. Simply uncheck the "system files updater" in the "current user settings", this is located in the flyakite submenu in the start menu. Now if this doesn't work u can try moving the "System Files Updater.exe" from it's location, this will definitely solve your problem, the flyakite folder it's located in the windows folder, just make sure you check the option to view hidden folders, it's like this WINDOWSFlyakiteOSXTools
