Why has nobody build a decent luna color pack?
Lot's of people (who don't know what UXtheme.dll is) are sick of the old luna colors and are using silver or even windows-classic. These people don't want their windows to look like Mac or having Spiderman popping up everywhere.
People have already made re-colorizations of Luna (and some are good), but often the explorer-pane is missing or is still Olive-colored, they come in separate msstyles often based on XP-style with just 1 color replaced, resulting in loads of double colors.
Could some experienced designer just make a "Xp-colors pack" with for example:
- '70 orange (with black)
- girly Pink (light pink)
- Red
- Black
- Orange(brownish) & blue
- Purple (like default blue but then little darker and purple ofcourse)
- and other nice looking colors
If I could work with those programs i did it myself, but some experienced designer could do it much better then i can.
If you pack it with the UXtheme.dll patch and instructions, people that have never bothered skinning XP will definitly install it and you could become a famous person ![]()
(if you make it neat.--> explorer-pane!!!)
I hope somebody is understanding my thoughts, and also wondering why this isn't done (properly) yet.
ideas/thoughts:
- get rid of the green start button (in most colors).
- to make it less "tele-tubbie", add a little metallic look.
- it's not worth much if there are bugs and/or missing things (like that f*** explorer-pane)
Thanks in advance for your attention.
