I made an icon:
and, maybe it's hard to tell when it's that small, but the lines are too plain. The real icon has the lines faded and tapered at the ends. How do i do this in fireworks? Is it one of those things i need photoshop for? grr i spent another hour on this icon :slant:

can't really help you with fireworks, although i would suggest you to try to mask the lines at the ends, if masking does the same thing as in photoshop. dunno.
