since we are talking about system files... do anyone know which DLL is the one used to display the "power icon" on the task bar.... i know somebody must know this... there was a thread on it once but i cant seem to find it...

Well. If you're talking about the "view" button (the Windows counterpart) actually it's not an icon, it's part of a BMP strip. You can find it in Shell32.dll and it's the BMP number 204 (205 for mouse over state) and 214 (215 for mouseover state).

Now, if you're talking about how to achieve that look, the best thing to do it is using a Y'z Toolbar theme, since in the original strip you can't use anything bigger than 24 px. Goku made an excellent Y'Z toolbar theme that includes it.
