If you have to ask, I'm not sure you have the required proficiency to set up Linux/Unix . Since Linux/Unix is pretty much an open-source operating system (most distributions are), you can download it online.

I'd start with the link mrlinux gave you, or this one. http://distrowatch.com/dwres.php?resource=major . I'm sure you'll also find an installation guide somewhere, and remember, BE CAREFUL!
