Label next to icon..

I'm looking for an add-on that allows you to place the labels next to the icon instead of below the icon.. I did use search but couldn't really find anything of value..

That's not what I'm talking about Like, when I save a file to my desktop, it should add a label next to the icon by default.. As far as I know, AveDesk only allows you to create desklets that contain shortcuts to programs/folders/files.. But that's not what I'm looking for

yes, and the program is called AveDesk. It does exactly what you want, you just have to configure it a little (customizing the default desklet label to be on the right like you want, and installing DesktopGrabber). Search and ye shall find

Hmmm, with normal desktop icons in Explorer, I don't believe it's possible. That is, I haven't seen a program that can do it yet, but I can't categorically say it's impossible...
