Gel XP 2.2 (modified)

I have a request that has been bugging me for ages.

But it has a couple of bugs that are really annoying (unfortantley the developer does no longer update this theme):

1. When the mouse is hovered over the taskband buttons the buttons get continuley brighter and do not return to there orignal state.

2. There is a contrast issue with log off and turn off computer buttons in start menu.

3. There is a contrast issue with arrow on task bar by system tray.

I have tried many times to fix these problems but really to be honest dont know what I am doing properly, I feel this theme would be complete if these bugs were fixed.

I have posted the bugs here to see if anyone would take on the job of "fixing" the theme and re-post it to share with me and other users.

It would be much aprreciated if this was possible.

YOU MADE A LINK TO A TROJAN FILLED WEBSITE YOU IMBOSIL!! didnt you think it was strange when you were asked to download random .exe files for no reason? O wait or are you still using Internet Explorer...in that case a few hours on that website has probably given you like 100 key loggers. Now im sorry if i was rude but the link you posted is damn well unsafe.

Please a mod out there who has seen this remove this link asap.....by the time this guy removes the link there would have been a lot of damage caused.

since when is themexp full of trojans? I've downloaded stuff from there for years with no problem. That was where I first got started customizing my windows machine....

You guys should chill before posting, themexp is fine ( except for the crappy collection there ), just press on the download link, it will try to download an exe, cancel it, and click on the link again, there you go with the zip file.

Edit: Nevermind, seems like they fixed it, now you won't ever get the zip download, but if you still really want a theme off themexp without the adware, then here is a tip:

Download the exe

Open CMD

Browse to the exe folder and type: xxxxx.exe /x C:TEMP

It will extract the following files to C:Temp :

%EXENAME%

%UNINSTALL_PATH%

fsi_install.ico

fsi_uninstall.ico

HLsetup2.exe

NNWDAB638.EXE

TXPSHOPPER.exe

--------------

Open "%EXENAME%" with winzip/winrar, and there you go the visual style is inside that

Seriously, I mean, I've downloaded dozens of things there and scanned them with my AV (like I do with everything) and never found anything (just don't let it install any of the extra stuff that comes with the themes)

Norton protects against both, trojans of all types and does a better than average job against viruses.

It's called AD Ware.. neither a Virus or a Trojan.

And I don't download anything from them for that very reason.
