Best Registry Cleaners

well.. im searching for a good programm for cleaning up the registy..

there are kind a lot of such progs out there~

but wich of them can you really trust/does the best job?

(using regclean from m$ atm ._.")

what you really need is a good strong electro-magnet...trust me it works well.

All seriousness it really a question of personal taste vs. knowledge vs time ,etc etc blah blah blah

I use RegScrub Vista & NTRegopt to compact it at the moment. It works great for me. Oh and of course notepad occassionally.

Guys if your going to use CCleaner, scroll down the main site page and look for the Alt versions. The main app has a yahoo tool bar attached to it. You can now get a slim version without any toolbar.

Since I can't find Regscrub's site I'm probably heading back to CC.

Another one is Cleancache but, it's more of a full system clean.

Edit: Actually so is CC not really as good at the registry as others.

i use ccleaner as well, but it seems all other progs clean the registry better :slant:

I use CCleaner for every day use, but once a week I use easyCleaner you can get it here.

This a more powerful cleaner so you have to be careful with some of the settings.

yep, CrapCleaner is the best so far for me, never has given me any problems.
