Been using StefanKa's InspiratSE for a long time, think it's the best. However I wanted to get read of the toolbar buttons (I use Y'z and not styler) and have the toolbar flat. My problem is that my StyleXP has expired and I don't wanna buy it only for this, also I know StefanKa is using a mac now so... I need some help.
I believe what you are after can be done using ResEdit.
If you open the .msstyles file in ResEdit, open the textfile for the color scheme and font size you want to use. Do a search for "Toobar.Button". Change the image file from IEBUTTONS.bmp to ToolbarButtons.bmp. Save the file and close the editor. Save the .msstyles file (probably to a new location so you can make a backup of the original first).
Open your new msstlyes file and apply the scheme you edited. The toolbar buttons will now not show any kind of an effect when you press them.
