Aqua-Soft ForumsI have only seen people using mac never operated it myself to know if theres any shortcut in stardoc`s objectbar that lets me dial the connection. Like in windows start menu there is a "connect to". due to this, its proving very unusable since going to network connections and then executing the dialer is taking a lot of time.
Adding a shortcut to "Connect To"
Wow this topic is pinned? I thought since everybody`s avoiding replying to me it`d get pushed to the back. well I did some exploring and found out how to put the "connect to" menu. and i`m gonna describe the steps here so other new people can also use it.
First, Right click on the menu where you want to create the item, and select insert new shortcut item.
* in the window that opens up, change the name to connect to/connections or whatever you want to.
* then go to behaviour tab and select the radio button "open a special folder"
* then select network connections and there you have it. if you dont want the icon, you can change the display to text only.
Really hope that helps out other people too.
er what i did was i rightclicked ob, unhid the ppp menu and then clicked it, and on the menu that opens i clicked open internet connect

It wasnt just about the connect to menu....actually i am having problem adjusting to the complete software object bar. I wish I could get help for some of the bugs....and my queries...
Try over at Wincustomize forums for the simpler ones that aren't specifically related to Aqua

another way to connect to... (an internet connection) is to create a shortcut to this: C:WINDOWSSYSTEM32rasphone.exe - connects to your internet.
hope this helps some people who want jus a net connection not their whole network connections.
