Is there any way to set up different wallapers for each monitor in my dual display system? I have 2 monitors with different resolutions, hence setting wallpaper to stretch on the primary (which is smaller) results in not so pretty view on the secondary.
Different wallpapers for dual monitor system
Was about to link that smoovie.....
What display card you are using for getting Dual-View?
I'm not sure about ATi drivers since I use nVidia.... cause nView software let you use different walls for each monitor !!
Windows has a dual monitor system built in, but they won't let you use seperate walls.
I have the same feature, iGo. But I don't know about that.......
Yeah, ultramon is the only thing I've seen for this-- do they have a monopoly on this one? or can anything else do it?
The word ultramon in my previous post is linked. ![]()
Yes, if you go to nView dialog box, under Desktops tab, there is a option called Use Multiple Desktop. If u enable it using checkbox on it's side, you get the Options button hilighted next to it.. that's where you can define wallpaper for each monitor !!
2 igo: I have Intel integrated graphics. With some tweaks. It's a laptop.
2 smoovie: Thank you
ohh... I have one System with Intel Graphics, but it's not Dual screen so I absolutely have no idea about it. Anyways, I guess in that case Ultramon would be best option. Besides it has lot of great features.
Or, you could splice two wallpapers together... each side of course needs to be the size of your resolution. This is easily done in MS Paint.
i got this software PDESK something with my MATROX card....didnt know all those features were so expensive...mine was free(i paid thru the nose for the card though..hehehe)
search for it...maybe it works with other cards as well...
i lost my disk so dont remember what the exact sw was called...
