"The Insider" movie "Glow" effect.

Howdy everyone.

I just back from cinema - as topic mentioned , I watched the Insider...

Anyone already saw the film will noctice during the Hostages Inerogation , they use sort of "Glow+ High Contrast " effect.

I just have no idea how to call that effect.

I photoshoped some of my pics , just to see how can i replicate that tecnique but i failed. It wasnt look alike

here is how i do..

1.open pic > dublicate layer

2.adjust curve + level as i see fit.

3. applied gussian blur 3 radius

4.apply "overlay" then reduce opacity -

My finished product sure looks ghostly glow and has high contrast but in the movie you will see it look so smooth and the colour look neat...

Anyone can suggeset a better way to replicate such technique ?

Am sure it's not hard for you guys am a photoshop ****ie

A picture would be impossible to obtain. The film is still in movie theatres.

I haven't seen the film so I can't help you.

Oh I thought he could post an advertisement of the film that contained the same effect wether it be a picture or commercial or trailer.

yeah i'll try post mine today , but it's different from the movie though , but may be you guys can make it looks more neat.
