what do you start with?

I was thinking for a while about the steps someone takes when modding the way your desktop looks. Personally, I start with the wallpaper, it tends to give me a vision of where everything would intially end, what elements I'll be using. Then comes the theme, and after that, the hardest part which is matching icons! There are other elements such as widgets and other objects that do a certain job!

What do you start with? is there a certain procedure that you follow everytime or does it change depending on the elements you come across?

OK... break it up kids.

I start with the theme or wallpaper, then move on to the theme or wallpaper (whichever I haven't done yet, obviously), then the icons. Or something like that. Widget skins usually come last.
