i want to buy a mac mini but don't wanna shell out an extra 760$ for a macintosh monitor can i use a dell monitor? maybe with a converter? link to a cord mod tutorial maybe? or maybe a really cheap monitor for .mac? all i need is alternative .mac possible monitors for the mac mini

unless they seriosuly changed things with the update, why wouldnt a monitor work with a mini?
Btw, Depends if your monitor is DVI, you may not even need the DVI to VGA adapter then, you can just use a DVI to DVI cable.

the mac mini comes with a dvi to vga adapter. you can use any display that you want. I have a dell 2005 FWP that is amazing. So yes... you can buy a mini.
Yeh.. the Mac mini comes with built in DVI port, so you can use any DVI monitor/LCD panels with it.. or if you have VGA pin monitor/LCD, there is DVI-to-VGA adaptor bundled with mini.
