i used a visual style before and it worked perfectly. but i rebooted and now used the same visual style and it did not like it did before. when u open a folder; on the left it shows common folder tasks, but that is just plane white now (looks like classic windows), it did not change like before. (I have attached a screenshot if u do not understand me). how do i fix this problem?
and by the way, anyone know any good windows Vista themes?

maybe you can discribe a bit what themer are u using. just a theme patcher or wb or themexp...

Hey OGTiago...you need to be a bit more savvy you know...nobody is going to download your zipped screenie...oh, ok 5 maybe. And how about searching for a vista theme yourself?
ok, i patched uxtheme.dll so now i can use un-signed visual styles on my comp.

is there any way opening up display properties > going to Apprearence > and then change the advanced settings?
You try re-applying the visual style? Or switching back to Luna and then moving back to the style again...
