Anyway, I believe it's taskpicture, a little app that displays thumbnails of minimized windows. Unfortunately, only few people have it and it's never been released to the public.
I used to use ObjectDock, only as a taskbar replacement, so only any minimised windows would show there.
Om mac it's program called Windowshade X.
It let you minimize on the spot. So you have a small preview on the desktop
Anyone used Thumbwin yet? The options in the tray menu, I can't read it...can anyone help.
Also miniMize and thumbwin don't seem to minimise Firefox either...
The program duyvan gave me doesn't really work or I just don't know how to use it..
to get it working, you must have .Net framework installed on your PC. Once you've got it installed, run the program, right click on its systray icon and make sure "stop" isn't checked. Open some new windows and minimise them, you should get the thumbnails on your desktop.
You can also set icon's size (little icon inside thumbnails) via options menu. Good luck

P.S. I've switched to ObjectDock to display tumbs, only because I can have the thumbnails starting on middle left of the screen (all 4 corners of my desk have something 
)

I think in the screenshot they used TrueLaunchBar, not 100% certain tho.

I used to think it was only on MAC but it seems to be a WINDOWS PC on the screenshot so if anyone knows what software is this, please tell us. Maybe we can ask to the desk's author ?!?
