Use reshacker to edit the bitmaps located in the file C:Program FilesiTunesiTunesMiniPlayer.ResourcesiTunesMiniPlayer.dll.

It does seem to work but only the first time I tried it. Presumably after loading it once it's stored memory so a restart is required after every change. I only change the first bitmap (the grey colour) and it definitely showed the new colour in the taskbar.

I can't see why not. Although I don't think you can make the player's height smaller so as to fit nicely with all the thin taskbars ppl tend to have. I guess this is why I never tried to take the idea further.
oh right so you need to restart....doh!...wow i think this is a cool new area of skinning that until now has been left untouched....btw is there a way of decreasing the height of the mini player through its bitmaps as it stretches my slim taskbar whenever i use the miniplayer
how do you get this toolbar player anyway?
Edit: never mind i found it. but i need to get the actual itunes button off the taskbar.....
well anyone looked furthur into this?...is there a height mod that someone could whip up?
