Lite Skin

If I were to make a very lite version of a forum skin, would you guys use it? Might not be near as pretty as the current one, but it will most likely be ten times faster.

- Little use of graphics

- Removal of a majority of the javascript (will remove wysiwyg postbit)

- Removal of alot of un-needed links/options no one uses

Stuff like that.

Just want yalls input before I put the time and effort into something like this.

basically anything that makes pages load faster and take up less space in my browser window, the better eyecandy is good, but when I'm just browsing forums, all I wanna do is read the posts...I don't care if it looks super fancy or not...

I think I'd use a milk or other style skin theme (with just as much functionality) first. If the "lite" version just totally kicks ass and looks fantastic (whatever that is or means), I'd probably switch to that...

Yes sir I would use it, I switch from Aqua to Graphite from time-to-time. Adding another style will make it better.

I'll be honest - I wouldn't use it. I really <3 the skin right now, and I really <3 all the features. I can waste a few extra seconds loading the page to appreciate the eye candy.

As a broadband user, at home, I wouldn't use it. However, the connection at my school is slower than Windows Vista's release schedule... I'd like a lite skin for on-the-go usage.

Please make this, because I am a heavy downloader running on a 384/384kb line and while I'm downloading files at top speed, pages lag due to images and such.
