Customizing Dll's Dialogs

OK, I'm going to hack (another one!) MSGina.dll, with bmps, buttons bla, bla....

But (I'm using ResHacker) I dont know if there's a way to change the color and font to dialog's controls.

Someone does??

If you change the fonts in the registry the dialog will use them, change the ms shell dlg line dlg to say ms shell dlg 2, and it will use that font.

yes, but what you can do is to create another ms shell dlg..say 3, and then use it for what you want to change

I'm near the finish line, but still have some little prob with dlg font color and button sizes.

In fact, the standard shutdown dialog font color for the button's labels is white, but with the mac bkg doesn't look very well.

Someone know how to change it?

Why do you want a button, the msstyle gives you the button. this is how mine is.

Yeah, I've this problem too, but isn't my first prob.

In fact, i think that can be solved by an accurate font resinzing and calibrating.

If you look your original bmp, you can see that it's come stretched when Windows add the command buttons.

For this reason I've decided to use skinned buttons, but the work is hardly. :order:

I'want also use dialog standard labels, but if the host PC doesn't have Lucida Grande font on it, they comes jaged.

I only ask you to be patient, guys, I'm very busy in this period !! :cry: :cry: .
