I use 1024x768. This is on the 14.1" iBook, and that's the largest resolution I can get. <_<

I use 1280x1024, but only because my Samsung 19" gives me an 80mhz refresh at the size. At 1600x1200 (my preference) I only get like a 65mhz refresh... 
Right no im actually using 800x600 contrary to my post... because i get 85Htz at 800x600.........
I have 1024x768, and with my monitor I can get up to 1280*1024 but the refresh rate is low and my eyes get hurted.
1280x1024.. i cant stand anything under it
if i could id love to go sooooo high but my moniter cant.. grrr

I can't see the purpose in going high. I like to be able to decipher and analyze the pixels, not squint at them.
I can, however, see the purpose in getting high

Im running dual monitors, 1024x768 each.
1280x1024 Anything else is too small...

Heh, I have a new question for you guys:
What refresh rate do you use? And what is the importance of it? I'm currently running at 60 mhz, but thats only because I don't know of any reason to change it. :shy:
The main reason to change the refresh rate of your monitor is that your eyes get tired/hurted when using rates below 75 Hz (this means that the image "blinks" 75 times in a second, though you do not notice (but do your eyes).
1024*768 @ 85 Hz on 19" monitor
I can take it to 100Hz at this resolution but it makes a high pitched whining which gets annoying.
I'm running 1024x768 on a 17" flat screen CRT Samsung @ 85 Hz - if I go any higher with the resolution the refresh rate drops to 75 Hz, which "hertz" my eyes (don't everyone laugh at once...heh). :hey_suga:
Am i the only one at 1152x864 here? :canadian: I'm running it at 75 Hz, my AOC Monitor can't get higher at this resolution! :baby:
15'' iMac 1024x768 max. resolution, but I don't really need a highest one
I would use 1152x864 if I could find more wallpapers that would support the RES!

thanks Ender, Im gonna try mine at 75-80 and see what happens. Oh yea, currently im at 1024x768 at 60mhz on a 12 1/2 in screen, but im playing around with the different resolutions, seeing what fits. :canadian:
