Garageband0/M-Box help!!!

Hey!

I am trying to use my M-box as an interface for Garageband, so I can record real instruments...unfortunately, I've ran into bunch of problems.

I actually read a post in this forum that I need to change the settings in the "Digidesign Core Audio Set-Up" in the Digidesign folder.

However, I go to click on the folder, and I get this message:

"DirectIO is in use by another project. In order to use this set-up application, please quit all

applications using DirectIO, and then re-launch this application."

So, my question is: how do I figure out the other application(s) using this "DirectIO", so I can get this working?

Try Ctrl+Alt+Delete to open task manager click Processes and see if it's still running in the back-ground. If so click it then click on end process. That's the best I can do for you.

If you have an MBox, then you have Pro Tools LE software. Ditch Garageband and use Pro Tools.

@smoovie: It's a Mac, my friend. Garageband is Mac-only software.
