Well, I've d/l-ed it, read the readME file and meet all criteria for usage but when I try to run the app I get a dos window flash on my monitor for .5 seconds then it's gone.
Can someone enlightem me. I'm clueless about this app. but want to replace stuff.

Don't "run the app."
Go to Start Menu-->Run-->type in "cmd.exe" absent the quotes.
Navigate to the app. Enter in "cd" (without the quotes) and then the path of Replacer.exe. At that point you'll be prompted what to do.

Well I still need a little more help I guess.
It keeps telling me the directory name is invalid.
I'm putting in:
cd F:My Documentsthe rest of the path
In the file I d/l-ed there is no .exe file but a .cmd file. I'm not sure if I'm missing something or not.

Try:
cd F:My Documentspath to directory where Replacer.cmd is located (Press ENTER)

Yeah, aquaman's method should work. You can't "change the directory" to point you to a file, so you want to change to the Replacer directory and then run Replacer.cmd, which you can accomplish simply by entering it in on its own line and pressing enter.

When I just type in the cd F:path I get no error but when I type in Replacer.cmd and press enter it says Replacer.cmd is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. But just typeing the path nothing happens.
According to aquaman99 I should enter the path and the file seperately right?
Yeah, but the error you're getting indicates you haven't put in the correct path or filename...are you trying to run Replacer.cmd from F: or from F:My Documentsthe-rest-of-the-path ?

From a longer path "F:Satans Child's Documentsprogram intallersUtilitiesReplacer" to be exact. I just copied the addy from the address bar. And yes I know installers is spelled wrong, I need to fix that at some point. 
Perhaps you're misunderstanding aquaman? First enter in the cd path command and press enter. Then just type in Replacer.cmd and press enter...
I can't see of any reason why it wouldn't work...

Ok, I moved the folder to C: drive and I can get the path to change in the dos window to the Replacer folder but when I put in Replacer.cmd now it's telling me 'find' is not recognized as an internal or external blah blah blah. O_o (shrug) I guess maybe I'm just not meant to replace. (pout)
It opened a new instance of the window titled Replacer but it still gives the same notice about 'find'.
I wish this crap would work haha this is really annoying.
Weird--never heard of this before. Perhaps you're fated not to have it installed? :slant:

hey, try copying the replacer.cmd and the data file into c:/windows/system32. then run cmd and just enter replacer (no .cmd) and enter and it should pop right up.
No good. I think I'm gonna re-down replacer. Maybe I have a corrupted file or something.

I re-d/l-ed Replacer put the files in system32. I had to still enter in the path and type the .cmd but it works. Thanks to both of you. Without NC I wouldn't even have a clue how to do this and without dpsleep I wouldn't have put it in that directory.
