Can anyone help me....
I have downloaded FlyakiteOSX onto my PC and it is great, but...
When i load up Skype it went let me look at the contactds window. I logs in fine, but then when i double click on it to load it up and talk to someone it just moves to and fro between the taskbar at the top and the RK launcher at the bottom. Can anyone tell me what the problem may be and or how i can get skype working again??

Does this still happen if you shut down RK Launcher? If it doesn't, then this is an RK issue...

It still doesnt it when the RL launcher is closesd.
When you clci on it in the taskbar it sort of looks like its maximising it but then doesnt open out.
Have you or anyone else got anymore suggestions?

I got exactly same problem with FlyakiteOSX 3.5. Help!

Well, i have now managed to fix the problem.....
What i did was completely unistalled Skype and then FlyakiteOSX 3.5 in that order. Then i reinstalled Flyakite and then Skype and it now works fine.
Try the same and i hope that you have equal success.

i have the same problem of skype not showing on the desktop.
i tried uninstalling flyakite and skype several times in different orders but it didnt help.
also tried different versions of skype (the beta and 2.0).
has someone an idea how to fix this without reinstalling windows?

I had the same problem, here's the solution:
Close skype if its running
open windows explorer and go to
C:Documents and SettingsUsernameApplication DataSkype
and delete shared.xml
now go to
C:Documents and SettingsUsernameApplication DataSkypeSkypename
and delete config.xml
Don't worry about these files, skype will create them the next time you open it.
Open skype and it should work perfectly!

Spoke too soon, The problem seems to have reoccured. ANyidea how to get skype working permanently with flyakite?
You might want to try a different form of emulation for your computer other than fly-a-kite such as windowblinds or just use msstyles if the problems persists.
Also, Try the latest Skype 3.1 http://www.skype.com/download/

Just used rk launcher 0.4 beta for a day , and unable already to view skype's main window,
tried to use system restore still same, try to use skype latest program v3.5.0.239
still the same... only can see main window, when skype first to run maximized
and not in normal window. pls help
I could see skype running in system tray, right clicking Skype icon & clicking "Open Skype" ,the main window still never appears.
