i think he's using a DynDNS sort of thing... i think that's what .ath.cx domains are. anyway, sakasune, you need to either get some webspace (check with your ISP, you may have 10megs) or something, or like, get a server in your house. otherwise, it's silly to have that Dynamic DNS thing and not have ur comp on. silly, silly, silly.

Hmmm.. I wonder what's up. If I can see it here, but you can't see it there then it's either dyndns, or it's my :nuts: router box. It's one of those little silver netgear jobs with the wireless access point. I'll check my dyndns status.

I have no idea why it's not working for yeh. DynDns said everything's fine, and my router box says everything's fine. Yep, it's a talking router box 
My only conclusion is that it lost the connection with Verizon and dialed back in, in the process getting me a new IP and that taking approx five minutes.
One of these days I will upgrade to a nice new flashy computer with dual lcds and then I can use this one for a server and do my routing through it. 900 mhz and 256 mb ram shouldn't be as awful as 200 mhz and 128 mb ram.

what's a good XP program for iPods?
There was one that was just being talked about not to long back. Try searching for it. I know there's one that's supposed to work with apple ipods on windows machines

EPHOD.. I think. Try for that, try doing a search on it through the board, too. It was talked about at some point, but I'm not fond of hard-drive based mp3 players because the battery life sucks. I personally prefer flash mp3, but whatever floats your boat.
