[Request] AveFontBook

Ave's font book is exactly what i've been looking for, as I have a library of some 1000+ fonts that I flip through when I'm doing graphic design work.

However I can't use FontBook due to it's lack of support for OpenType fonts. PLEASE someone build some OpenType support in.

And... if you could also add all fonts in a directory, instead of one by one...

These two additions would make this program amazingly useful.

As good as AveFontBook is, it was never meant to have more than one version (and the same goes for AveText, AveMovie, AveIconBook, etc.).

I suggest AdobeType Manager or TheFontThing (which I mentioned in a recent thread, so you might want to try searching for it).

Of course, I don't speak for Ave. I'm just guessing this is what his response will be.

adobe type manager is discontinued, and i can't find a torrent

but thank you, and i think wherever he is, he should consider it anyways.

There is suitcase wich is very good.

But I see a great potential in AVFontbook also

If Andreas would solve some small errors, this would be a great alternative to the other big programs.

It's called Ave FontBook not AVfontbook.

And AFAIK Ave FontBook is not being developed anymore.

Try this one when it comes out for windows. It works like iTunes and it is free. Otherwise, i vote for Suitcase. Best font handling out theere!
