Sorry for making tons of threads over the icons I will be working on. I have recently been having some trouble with new ideas for the icons and I was hoping for everyones advice.
This is what I have right now, NC suggests some changes but I cant figure out what.
With your ideas I'll be able to make the icon set quicker and better.

*sigh* liked v1 but i think the edges should be sharper, like the top cover. angle wise i like it but the last one posted above is nice too.
Like the black one the best. Something seems to be off on the two bottom ones? Alpha-blending or something else?

this one is a little less special than your last with rubber band..a little too open for a file empty
I think you have talents and taste to make an original one better than all suggest you have here..
Heard your mind, use your original talents.. But if all suggest are positive (good) for you, that's ok
But its never better than your proper idea

I like it, the apple i dunno if its suppose to be embedded into the leather or just there, but it stands out too much to be embedded.
if you can make silver ones too, i think you have a set.

Problem is there are just too many sets that use a silvery colour, so maybe this time something different should be made. I was also thinking the about making a arrow for downloads, gear kinda thing for widgets and stuff where the apple logo is.
I think it would look quite nice, but im happy to listen to any suggestions you may have. Your ideas will determine how the set will turn out.

That's why I dont make alot of generic icons I think that's as good as the folder's gonna get might as well start working on the set :slant: since there's nothing else you can really modify.
You sure there's nothng else that could be improved?
Maybe make the inside a little darker but that about it.
Ok I guess it's all sorted then, I'll get cracking on the set. Let's hope nothing bad happens like last time.
I mentioned silver cuz it matches my stuff but I'd use the black one regardless in my doc at least. Are you gonna make diff folder icons? like for my docs, pictures, movies, music, downloads, etc ? you could place a lil logo where the apple is, nice and simple.
