the only times i've had trouble with usb-to-ps2 adapters is when using a kvm. that's my experience. any mouse should work with a ps2 adapter, otherwise.
@shmengie: What is a kvm? And I asked the guy that works at BestBuy and he said it might not, so I dunno.
Isn't a KVM one of those hardware boxes where you plug in a single mouse and keyboard, but you can control two computers, as it has two sets of output leads.

yes, a kvm (Keyboard-Video-Mouse) uses one keyboard and one mouse to control multiple computers. i use them at work. and yes, cdi2, i've had problems using usb-to-ps2 adapters on kvm's. 
:P they should work, but they don't always. anyways...
