hi i am almost finished skinning this Vista iTunes skin and i ran into a little problem.
I need to move the "next" and "previous" buttons inside toward the "play" button about 2 pixels each so that they are touching it.
Is there ANY possible way you can do that?
Here is my skin im working on so that you can see what im talking about.:

Hi there,
by default there's a 3pixels gap between each buttons and I don't think there's
a way to make them touch each other (at least not at the moment).
Currently the only thing that you are able to move are the close/min/max buttons,
by editing the SkinData.ini.
Maybe localhost will add this feature someday? *hint* *hint*

This would not only benifit me, but others as well because i see other skins out there that have the same problem which is that the next and previous buttons need to be touching the play button.

First of all - great skin!!
It really fits my VistaXP WindowBlind Theme.
Just found 2 little things that maybe could use a little workaround.
No. 1: the active source text color is a bit to light.
No. 2: the mini player buttons and the "burn" icon aren't skinned right.
Otherwise your work looks fantastic.
ya, i know, im not quite fininished with it yet. when i do i will upload the finished version.
but i cant really finish it completely until localhost makes it possible for us skinners to move the buttons around a little so the next and previous buttons are touching the play button
and about that font color in the left bar, i dont know which font number that is in skindata.ini to change. would you know?

Here is what i know:
Font006 --> Search and Browse Text
Font009 --> Status Text
Font014 --> Source, Now Playing, Artist, Album, Song Name, etc. etc.
Looking forward to seeing the final version of this skin

I saw your PM, but I thought I'd rather answer here because it applies to other people as well.
Well, I could do something to help with that.
I will probably make the part of that background replaceable with a bitmap, so you could put parts of the button images in the background.
But it still won't be possible to change the mouse ove/down states of that part.
However, that requires me to rebuild all the titlebar/borders/corners skinning code, so it will take some time.

oh and is there a way to change the font color of the selected menu item in the source pane on the left side of iTunes?
if you notice the selected item text is white, i wanted it black. is this possible?

Currently it's impossible too, but I'm working on it.
When do you expect all this to be done? Is there anything i can do to help speed up the process?

Both of those things are quite complicated. It will take me some time. I don't know how much, though.

S'okay, don't worry too much about it. However, when a developer is working on something, they'll be sure to tell you when they're done .
I don't think he's going to release it anytime soon--he'll probably wait for an iTunes upgrade, or if he comes up with more ideas for new features. That's just a guess, but there are rarely frequent updates for popular programs like this (except for WCC, Winamp CD Case!) .
