Aqua-Soft Forumswhen i use genie effect, i get the notice " error creating direct3d device". anyone can tell me what's the problem? the scale effect runs well in my pc. i use sis650 mainboard with inboard graphic card. 512 ram. thanks in advance! 
can GenieEffect be used in sis board?
sis650 is the chipset, who made the board?
If you're using the integrated video, you're hosed.
Sounds like a DirectX driver issue.
I get the same error message on a Radeon 7000 with DirectX 9.0c Installed. I think it has to do with the graphics chip lacking the juice to implement some DX 9.0 features (And OpenGL 2.0 Features)
I really don't think there is a work around save buying a more up to date Card .....
