Restoring Internet Explorer Buttons

Hey. I used Flyakite OSX to change my system files and it changed the buttons of internet explorer into Safari style. I want my old IE buttons back. How do I restore them? I just want to restore the IE buttons (i.e. the green back and forward buttons, etc.) but nothing else. How do I do that?

Thanks guys!

In other words, what dll file are the Internet Explorer icons located in?

(I'm adding this so it won't get moved--you're asking for help on a file modification, not specifically FlyakiteOSX.)

I think you mean this one:

It's still a missing feature but should be added pretty soon (I hope so ;) )

Hi DarkOne,

What you need to do is replace the following toolbar bitmaps: 204.bmp, 205.bmp, 214.bmp and 215.bmp. They are located in WINDOWSFlyakiteOSXResourcesshell32.dll. Of course you must have your original bitmaps (Winows XP ones; these are the ones you want back, rite?) and perhaps someone here has them (I don't). Once you paste the desired bitmaps into the above folder, run the Force System File Update tool that is included in the fkite3.5. In the tool's window, check Shell32, hit update and restart the system. voila.

Ps. I have the fkite 2 toolbar bitmaps, and a personal mod that goes well with milk, so if you're interested PM me.

Hey! I did not even know the flyakite file existed in C:WINDOWS! It was hidden and I didn't think to look there. Where might I find the original bitmaps on the computer? Are they backed up somewhere? I tried looking through individual DLL files either through explorer or icon explorer but there are just too many places to look. If anyone has the actual bitmaps it would certainly make my life easier ^^

You guys are great!

Use reshacker to extract the proper bitmaps (204, 205, 214, 215 as cited above) from the backup copy flyakite will have made and then you can replace them yourself in your new dll file.
