undo "keep itunes music folder organized"?

i decided to try a bunch of things in itunes that i never checked out before. one of which is the built-in 'organizer.' what a ****ing mistake that was!! so, i have now unchecked that box, but my music folder is still the way it was when itunes 'organized' it. any way to undo this, besides manually? v6.0.4 on wxp sp2.

I believe the changes made are permanent so manually is the only way to go back..:/

I belive it warns that the changes it would make cannot be undone. I made such a mistake earlier. It cost me about 3 months to restore folder structure manually.... not to mention about 30% of my library being untagged and files renamed to Unknown-unknown_xx.mp3 instead of artist-track.mp3 :-(

HI.... i ran into the same problem...however, the folder structure i used was based on genre, and after creating the folder strucutre, i copied the folder name to the genre feild....anyone know of a program that can create a file strucutre based on anything in the id3 tag?
