This is obviously a fake. Why do you people insist on believing these pictures, especially since they come from Macshrine. Someone at iPodWizard.net compared two of the pics, neither the screens nor the clickwheels/touchwheels match up.

Also, last time pics were leaked (of the 5G), they were leaked mere HOURS before the announcement, so unless Apple plans to release the "iPod AV" sometime tonight while most of America is sleeping...
Hmm, assuming this was true... For a 30th anniversary, you'd think that apple would come up with something more creative than another pointless ipod with a bigger screen. If I liked movies, I'd rather watch them on a tv, anyway.

Assuming Apple really IS working on a video iPod similar in concept and/or design to the fakes we keep seeing... that's hardly "pointless."

I believe that after all those rumors about the iPod, Apple would release it (they tend to do that..).
I guess that on April 1st they would announce other things as well as the iPod, maybe the new iBook or something like that. To be sure, April 1st is going to be a very good day for us apple freaks.

This is easily proven fake. The picture showing the back of the ipod's text is off. The ipod part of the text is fine it's the AV part that is perfect while the iPod part is slanted. Just open preview up adn you can see. The AV part aligns perfectly with a ruler while the other text is off.
What was the most glaring bit of fakery was the photo if it in the HiFi. Too crisp, too clean, no glare or anything.

I think another thing is funny... all those pictures suggesting to show the new "ipod AV" look pretty close to Microsofts new device: UMPC. Lets see if Apples version will be cooler ;-)

i saw the fake picture before and i wasnt surprised but i see this with the virtual click wheel and i jumped so high i nearly hit the ceiling! if this thing is true i want one now...gimme!

i dont think this would work, how the heck would u hold something with less than an inch of border before your your touching the screen. i hate to even touch the bottem of my ipod now.

+@grim hold it on the bottom and sides, and use the lock button a heck of a lot more then you do now
