I will start working tomorrow on some marketing research, do some of you guys work during this time?
Summer Jobs
I work at HyVee... lol $5.75 /hour
I'd love to have a job for the summers..
I work at my Towns Law Department doing legal research and writing ordinances. The job sucks, but it has air conditioning. ![]()
Also hoping to get a job at CompUSA, on the suggest of Taha I believe. Im going to amaze them with my superior ability to lie to people.
I will get some cash according to every survey I get people to answer it depends on the type but the survey can be paid from 3 to 8usd, most are 5usd, Tomorrow they will give me 3, I think I'll ask for more, like 5. It is not that easy to find people that have certain car and have like 20 minutes to answer. Lets see how this thing goes.
It costs nothing.
I work for a local company called Approval One Financial Services. They do mortgages and loans and stuff. They have needed a computer guy to come in and fix their stuff for quite a while so they hired me. I am also in the process of setting up this integration system for them where possible buyers can visit their website and send their own 1033 forms through e-mail as attachments and it can be picked up by their Loan Software as a person's file into their database. O yeah, that and they need a new Hub for their network. Im probabaly just gonna have them buy 2 24-Port 10/100 Switch D-Link hubs and just piggyback them together because all the data that goes through a Hub is passive anyways. A 48 10/100 Switch Port would be nothing more than a waste of good money. I make $10/hour. BLING BLING BABY! :surfer_dude:

Well, according to all those little baby ass whiners over at SCO it costs ONE BILLION DOLLARS! MUHAHaHAHAH! Stupid SCO, why cant you just go out of business with dignity like all the other sh##ty tech comapnies?
*Question* Is it ok for me to let out an opinion like that? Sorry if its not.
Of course it is, SCO bashing is completly acceptable in every forum in the universe.
Did you hear their latest interview? They claim that Windows and Macs (pre OSX) also came from SysV Unix, and that they were planning to sue MS and Apple over this as well.
THEY'RE NOT EVEN UNIX BASED!
They claim that all these advanced functions were invented by them, even though they appeared in Operating systems before SysV was even around.
Its funny, really.
And its 3 billion now. :dr_evil:
iI think windows NT might have some sort of basis in a very old mach kernal
not 100% on that though....

Well, I get paid $5.25. Not much, but hey, it's honest work.
Oh, and I don't have to push...I get to drive a nice big green John Deere with a 6 foot cut.
Even so, it takes me 3-4 days to mow the entire campus.
And yes, I too hope I make it big w/ my album so I don't have to mow lawns for all eternity! ![]()
@zpod- Yes, you have got me beat
Although the Montana sun is often quite brutal itself- I was out in the 95 degree heat all day today...needless to say our crew drank LOTS of ice water!

I work in a Finnish book publishing company. No, I have nothing to do with books
.
I'm in the computer departement (yeah, there's one
). I do different things, mostly Helldesk and some computer installations. My work has been quite easy tho. Most of the workers are on vacation, so most of the day I sit here and browse forums
. But next week i have to carry 30 comps around the house, not nice. Sounds maybe easy, but try carrying 22" monitors that are 5 years old. They weight like a ton.
I get my money monthly, so it doesn't matter how long I am at work. I get 1100€/month.
PS. I hate helpdesk. I hate helpdesk. I hate helpdesk. I hate helpdesk. I hate helpdesk. I hate helpdesk. I hate helpdesk. I hate helpdesk. I hate helpdesk.
