Aqua-Soft ForumsHow do you make it so that you can have 2 of the same person doing two different things? Like having a clone of them in a sense. But im only limited to adobe premier pro 7, so yea... How can you achieve this in Adobe premier? What is the effect, and how to u apply it?, I Basicly already kno that u have to have a still shot, so the background image isent distorted, i just want to kno how to even achieve this effect. Thanks !
2 People in one Shot
Shoot the person on Blue or Green screen (background) doing whatever he's doing in two different videos... then select a background shot, and composite both the videos in Adobe Premiere on two video tracks. Use Keying (blue screen/green screen/chroma key) to remove the green/blue background you shot them on... and voila !!! You have same person doing two different things in single frame. 
but isent there a way so i dont have to use a colored background, so that i can do it even just sitting on a chair or something in a room or something, cause i dont really want a Different looking background, it must look like its in a normal room, and that it really does look like a clone of that person, dosent this work by having so that whatever moves to show up? so have 2 different shots. 1 of each doing there own thing, then somehow merging them so that whatever moves well only show up, and the background has to stay constant so that it wont be distorted, if u figure this out, only with adobe premier, then omg u are my savior. lol Thanks!
there's a simple way to do "clone" people without using chroma keying,
but you have to use Photoshop.

hmm, well i didnt really mean for a STILL shot, i mean to do this in video... im getting adobe after effects, but i well have no idea on how to clone people in that. Does anyone know, or probably have some tatorials? Thanks 
You shoot one scene normal and then the composite scene with the second (same) person on an entire green/blue background.
Then you composite the "green screen" actors scene using the normal scene as a background.
Either way, something getting shot with an all green/blue background.
but i already told u, i cant use green or blue screens, i need it so i can keep it in a simple room, because u cant record a person moving objects that well be interacted with the other (same) person on a bluescreen
dang... i think those are the only ways to do it. You can set up the objects in front of the green screen that were in the original shot but make sure you have the same lighting. I think you could rotoscope one person but you need after effects for that and it is a pain in the ass. (it has been awhile since i worked on rotoscoping in after effects so i might be wrong.)
if they are in different parts of the room you can shoot the two videos in the same position..put them together and crop the overlapping parts. This would require that the two people do not cross each other and the lighting is constant
