iTunes & Avedesk

I'm not sure if it's a bug or just my system, but here goes.

If you run avedesk right after installing itunes, without running itunes not for once,

avedesk pops up this error messege telling you that it needs itunes original disk or something.

Avedesk will not load properly, and all you can do is to shut it off from task manager.

Reinstalling itunes + run itunes, then run avedesk solved the problem.

It was strange, just letting you know.

At the time, I was using 4 Desklets... See the attachments plz.

I downloaded orginal avedesk 1.3 but had the same result.

I was using both Windows 2003, XP & avedesk 1.3.

That is because you're using AveTunes (i'm guessing) and it requires iTunes to work.

I guessed that too, so I deleted avetune, avescript and my settings, but it did not help. Maybe avedesk need some files which are created after you run itunes.

I'm not sure if Itunes COM interface is registered until you execute Itunes atleast one time!?

and 1 more question, izzit i have to run itunes in order to use the avetune controller?

and last, how bout the media control plugin-in for true launch bar, can we just press the play

button without open the respective program( like open winamp) to play music?
