Old Imac, Anyone Has One?

I have a desperate desire to get an iMac. Well, I just want one to tide me over until I get my real brand new iMac. But, until then, I need something to experience all of Apple's new software coming out seemingly weekly.

Does anyone have an old iMac or know anyone that has an old iMac that they want to get rid of (sell). I also want it to interface with my new iPod. The iPod just isnt as good without a Mac and iTunes to go with it. If anyone knows anything about anyone wanting to sell an iMac, I'm talkin cheap here, please let me know. I'm dieing for one!

I've been checking Ebay forever, but the prices are more than I want to spend. Also a broken iMac would also be of interest to me. Thanks.

Oh ya, You can PM if you want. That would probably be better actually. No, believe or not Ebay's not that cheap. Its so popular nowadays that everyone's using it.

Have you checkout out Core Computers? You can get a 800Mhz G4 Computer for like $600-800, if you scavenge some of your PC parts.

Its much more powerful than any old iMac, and it wont cost any more.

I might just check them out. Although, I was hoping to spend a little less than that.
