I wonder if it's the evolution of the X-boy we saw about a year ago has a rumor on the internet...

edit after seeing the video: one thing I know is it's ugly as hell. But it could prove a good gadget...the keyword here is "could".

edit2: It could be quite nice has a portable PC, but has a MP3 player, isn't it too big?

I don't think it's being marketed as an mp3 player nor would that be the primary function of this device.

It does look useful but I wish we knew what exactly it does. Judging from the video, there was atleast 3 different types of devices in it.

It looked like someone was playing Halo on it..but that might have just been a video with someone PRETENDING to play the game...

I have no problem with the length of the device, but I do wish it was less thicker.

I guess we have to wait until tommorow for some more information.

I didn'T say it was primarily marketed as such though the video clearly shows it can be used as a MP3 player, much like the PSP. it ain't primary but it's there, hence my commentary about the size ;)

I'd love to see where this goes... if it IS a solid WinXP Pro computer with tablet functionality, it'd be a perfect alternative to purchasing a Windows box for random stuff. Synching with a MacBook Pro probably wouldn't work out so well though. :P

When I first saw that pic in first post I was like "wtf is it 1983 or what". It pretty much explains my attitude about this thing. Even if it's not real. Why? Because I don't believe that Microsoft is capable of creating anything nice.

Hmmm... It looks like it's just the next generation PDA/Media Centre/Tablet... Looks good though. I'll wait until a brand I can trust makes something similar........ The size is a bit disapointing.... I was hoping it'd be about the size of a VGA or QVGA device..... meh.

I wonder what the specs will be like, and if it will use this multi-touch technology...

That's because it's a teaser. It started on 2.24.06 with a video ending with"Learn more on 3.2.06..." When that date came, you get a different teaser that ends up saying "Find out 3.9.06", so now we wait for that date.
