windowfx problem

Hi,

I've searched and searched and searched for people with the same problem, didn't find it, here it is:

I use the OSX perfect shadows for windowfx and I use the Tiger skin from Steve Grenier or something.

It worked fine for weeks.

Since this morning , the shadows are gone around regular windows like explorer, my computer etc.

The shadows still works around application windows but not around the 'regular' windows anymore.

I'm sure I have deleted something because it happened after I cleaned my disk with 'easycleaner'.

I've tried to simply uninstall and delete the folder afterwards and reinstall windowfx, but the problem isn't solved. I think there are some settings that remain on the disk after uninstalling windowfx and reinstalling, and I don't know where, so it doesn't 'reset' completely.

Anyone who is willing to help me ?

Without this glass shadow effect, the 'mac' effect would be gone and I don't want a "format c: "

I added "off-topic" before the topic name, but someone had moderated the subject.

Why I ask here ? Because it is related to "mac" emulation.

Of course I can go to the stardock site , but they will probably want to know first if I have paid for it, there starts the problem. (who will pay for a little shadow, nobody uses those other features which will slow down your system)

just a comment:

if there was a windowblinds skin of tiger with the glass shadows integrated into the skin itself, ALL problems would be solved.

(vistaxp skin from Kol has it integrated), there would be no problems anymore with expose clones (leaving shadow on the desktop when minimizing windows etc etc) and besides that, it would save resources. If I had the skills, I would make one myself

And Windowblinds doesn't really slow down your system at all, just so ya know.
