WinFX question

Ive seen alot of desktops with the inside of explorer transparent to the desktop, now i asked a friend and he said its winfx, now i have a very fast computer but i think the features from it are usless besides that effect if i disable everything else, where is the option to make the inside of the window transparent? thanx in advanced.

it might be winfx or photoshop. People can easily make that sort of effect with photoshop

Don't think WindowFX can do this and havn't seen a program on my journeys. Would be a neat effect though. Console has this effect.

Do you mean something like this ?

That can be only done with Photoshop (Take a ss and open it with ps. Cut the explorer and put a layer with the wallpaper at back).

With WinFX you can do all the explorer transparent.Not only the inside window.
