***USE AT OWN RISK***
Set your bios to boot from CD.
Boot into safe mode w/ f8
Select Boot Safe with Command Prompt
Type Format C:
Wait for it to format.....
Intall Win2k again..... That has worked for me many times. But please heed the warning, it may not work for others. Im not taking responsibility for a dead pc.
@ Op: Either you are taking the p**s or you are really stupid. How the hell did you even get it to attempt to install on 2000 as that's an achievement?

I'm not even going to help you with your stupidity. There's a reason my site has a System Requirements page. Your inability to read 10 seconds worth of text, or your pure laziness, is not something I should help you with.
If you are using Windows 2000 (which is generally not an OS the normal user would use. I would expect someone using it to have a decent understanding of operating systems), you should have the knowledge to be able to repair your os or format it and reinstall 2000.
erf, i'm in the same situation
once you know it did'nt work with 2000, you could post a warning somewhere on the site don't you can ?? it will avoid some problems
Septimus > a lot of programs works with both xp and 2000, for example crystalxp
and if it doesn't work, it generally doesn't make the system be down...
edit : nevertheless, i can access my win partition through a linux boot, so if someone got a different solution, i'll took it, thx
As far as I remember, Flyakite's website clearely mentiones that this pack works only on Windows XP versions. It also mentions that it doesn't work on Windows 2000 or Windows XP 64bit version.
Maybe a properly going through things and reading and understanding helps a lot in avoiding such crisis. Not blaming others for your foolishness. No offence dude, I'm not trying to prove that you are fool but please don't start blaming someone like chris (flyakite) who have worked so much doing something so much for community.

@ zyv-
Or you could just read the readme.
That's the purpose of a readme file, isn't it?
yes, i might be the only one around the world who didn't read it.
okay, sorry for being such aggressiv.
i find a way to restore the win 2000 system, without formatting or so.
if you got an access to your w2000 partition (through a linux installation ou with a linux boot cdfor example), you can copy the c:winntFlyakiteOSXBackupuser32.dll to c:winntsystem32user32.dll, it will permits to reboot on safe mode, and then you can desinstall the pgm. Win2k will work fine at next reboot (thanks to the developpers who make the pgm backup important dlls for stupid win2000 users like me...)

zyb, who will try to read readmes in the future..
Good to know there's a solution! Linux Boot CDs are also pretty easy to come by, so you're all in luck
