Hi, since I have the new version 3.5 of flyakiteosx, my sygate firewall asks me if I want to allow
ntoskrnl.exe to access the net. has this to do with flyakiteosx?

ntoskrnl.exe = Microsoft Boot Up Kernel. It should not need to access the net. Flyakiteosx changes it so you can have the custom boot up screen as the boot screen is located in that file. Almost all programs that change the boot screen do that in that way, the exception being Stardock's Bootskin.
