Bitmaps to Font

Does anyone know of a way to take grayscale bitmaps and convert them to a font? I have each seperate glyph saved as a grayscale bitmap, but haven't been able to find the correct software that allows me to make a font out of it... (//moved your thread--this is more of a software question . -NC)

Maby using freehand or something similar to create a vector eps. I believe you can import eps files into fontographer and create a font out of it... just a thought.
