O M G! Version 0.2 was so good that I didn't even know that you were developing a new version but here it is! Damn it looks so great.

Why do you always to release your awesome docklets when I'm at work? :P I must wait like 7 hours till I can test it.

#33731

Thanks Albeik for your continual work to bring a great app.

#33746

Simply........I love you !!!

#33749

you should make a paypal button on your site too.

you work so much, albeik.

#33753

Yeah that paypal sounds good. I know I would donate as soon as I get my credit card.

#33756

Great work THX! :own:

#33760

for local its not displaying the location or zipcode I dont usually have that listed but I thought I would let you know

#33761

very nice update, love your work.

but how do I get rid of the shadow behind the text?

#33764

Absolutely love it!

#33766

Agreed, I think the shadow is a nice addition if you are using a darker dock background. The white text with a black shadow is hard to read on a white dock background. I changed the temperature color to black, but the black shadow on the black text distorts the text.

Here is a screenie of what I mean- the temp. is hard to read:

I agree.

Great docklet, but I would like to be able to turn the shadow off. Or, make it consistent with the labels that YZ Dock uses (offset to the bottom right)

#33772

I'll work on an updated version regarding the shadow tonight...

- Add DISABLE_SHADOW to INI

- Redesign the Shadow algorithm to look like Y'z Dock Labels

- Attempt to implement a Border around the text (not sure how to do this)

Sorry for the inconvenience everybody... I'll fix it as soon as I get out of work...

#33773

How about an option to allow the temperature to be displayed in the text label instead of over the icon. Just a thought....

#33774

sounds good to me... :)

Great update

#33782

... I wanted to add that I, just, noticed that the weather.ini & iweather.ini files have their ALPHA transparency values set to 225 when downloaded from my site. I meant to set that to 255 (that is the maximum value).

People who think their text is not-as-bright, make sure you check the ALPHA value in the INI files ...

sorry about that! :shy:

#33783
