I seriously hope you are not like this with objects in real life. I can only imagine how old some things are in your trash can..... *shivers*
As for me, there are no objects in my Recycle Bin. 0GB worth of deleted files on 240gb worth of hard drive space... not bad.
I never have files in my recycle bin, N E V E R.

Shift+delete anyone? You can bypass the recycle bin completely using that shortcut. But on things I'm not totally sure about I will send it to the reycle bin. And then delete it minutes later

Actually I've hidden the Recycle Bin using a TweakUI tweak and I don't have an AveDesk or RK Launcher shortcut. For all intents and purposes I've forgotten the recycle bin. That's why it's only cleaned out rarely .

Deleting file to recycle bin or even delete it from the recycle bin at all doesn't really mean it's been deleted, it's only been hidden so you can't see it anymore :confused:
using some software such as (Tuneup Utilities, Undelete feature) can get all your deleted files easly, actually you can get ur files even after formatting ur pc (i got my data i use to have after doing 3 format in 1 week !!! )
it might be known to everyone but not for me atleast not 6 months back, so i thought to share with u guys here.

By the way, it's quite likely I had stuff older than that--my recycle bin had exceeded the maximum capacity so Windows was deleting the oldest files. I think Ave still wins though .

Okay, so I lied with the oldest file, I have to empty my recylcing bin very oftgen because I have less than 100MB left on my HDD because my other one died... I wish somebody would give me the money for a new one *hint hint*

What you should do, NC, is drag your Recycle Bin to the Quick Launch area, that's what I do. Just have that and the Show Desktop button, and it is extremely convenient. Then just hide it using TweakUI. No Recycle Bin on your desktop but you still get very quick and easy access to it.
Shift+Deleting always, Recycle is empty
