Using .aveinst to install desklets

OK, so I have d/led AveDesk, found it to be very interesting, made all of the included Disklets appear and disappear. I d/led the nice tutorial and read it (thanks to the author). But SOMEHOW, I cannot seem to get any newly d/led Disklets to work?!?!?!? I am using 2KPro, and unzipped the Disklet (I have tried a few), into the Disklet directory, under a name reflecting what the disklet does. But I can never see them when I try to add them to the desktop. Could someone PLEASE tell me what I have missed in the translation?

i thought that desklets didnt need to be moved anymore, you download a .aveinst and then open it, avedesk does the rest :confused:

Thanks for the hint ... I finally got some smarts and told the dislet to use AveDesk to open it, then AveDesk d/led AveScripter and all is now well .. I said it was somptin' simple!
