Safari download progress icons for firefox

Hey fellas,

one thing that really bugs me about firefox, are the .part files when downloading files to the desktop.

When I have firefox minimized, I don't know how much is downloaded so far.

I would love to have an extension that emulates the way safari displays the rough progress on its icons:

Is there any extension that I may have missed that can do this, or can I encourage someone to write one?

Yeh, that sounds great, not sure if firefox can do such a thing but im sure somebody outthere must know?
